Hey Guardians! Today, I have a somewhat old post for you all! Before this blog officially launched, I wrote up some posts just to have, in case I couldn’t get a post up one day. Well, with Camp Happy Heart just around the corner, I figure it’s time to start up this series, which was one of those posts that I wrote nearly a year ago! I made 3 posts in this series, but I may add more as new movies and shows come out. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this!
One thing that I have seen in the past is people sorting different characters into Hogwarts houses, so I can’t take credit for the idea.
Now, I’m not a huge fan of Harry Potter, but I definitely like the concept of personality tests and that sort of thing, so Hogwarts houses are really cool to me! (I’m a Hufflepuff, btw.) If you know me, you know I LOVE Marvel. So, I thought I would sort the Marvel Characters into the Hogwarts house. However, since there are so many wonderful and important characters, I’m going to split this into a few parts. This part will cover characters in the Iron Man trilogy, Spider-Man, and Agent’s of S.H.I.E.L.D.
We’ll start with the Iron Man franchise.
Tony Stark/Iron Man
I feel like a lot of these characters could be sorted into multiple house. You know, because superheroes are brave(Grryfindor), and usually smart(Ravenclaw) and sometimes deceptive(Slytherin). Anyway, I just pick the most defining quality of the character, and for Tony Stark? He would literally thrive in any of the houses, but I’m going to pick Ravenclaw.
Pepper is super smart. Ravenclaw all the way.
I wish he got more screentime, but Happy is definitely a lovable character. I’m going to go with Hufflepuff.
Given that Rhodey was already a hero before he became Iron Patriot or War Machine, I’m going with Gryffindor.
Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow
An easy answer for this one would be Slytherin. However, Nat was trained to be a spy. I don’t believe she actually wants to be deceptive, so I really think she’s a Gryffindor! Watch Endgame and tell me I’m right.
Ok, time for the Shield crew!
Director Nick Fury
Being a director of a super secret spy organization, there’s really only one logical choice. Fury’s a Slytherin.
Agent Phil Coulson
I love Coulson! I feel like I might know more about him than the average Marvel fan because I love Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I’m going to go with Hufflepuff, though Gryffindor would fit well too.
Agent Melinda May
While May shows some Gryffindor qualities, I’m going to have to go with Slytherin.
Agent Bobbi Morse
Ok, I’m pretty sure there’s no arguement here. Bobbi is a Slytherin all the way.
It’s kind of hard to say a lot about this character without giving too much away about her. She’s had her dark patches, but I think she’s a Gryffindor.
Okay, so I know Deke is pretty smart, but I really think he’s a Hufflepuff.
Yo-yo is an awesome character, and really, the only place she can go is Gryffindor.
I can’t even talk about him okay? SLYTHERIN.
Hunter is a hilarious character! He’s a Hufflepuff.
Jemma is another Ravenclaw. She even confirms it herself in the show.
Ok, so I really feel like Fitz is a Hufflepuff, but, he doesn’t end up in Hufflepuff. Hear me out…the sorting hat takes personal preference into play. Fitz would go great in either Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, but when he sees Jemma is in Ravenclaw, he want’s to be with her. ALSO, I CAN’T SEPARATE THEM. NOT AGAIN.
Lincoln was one of the greatest characters on season 2 and 3. He’s a Hufflepuff.
Mack really reminds me of Captain America guys. While I could put him in Ravenclaw for just that shotgun-axe idea (XD), he belongs in Gryffindor.
Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider
This is kind of a tough one! I feel like I’d classify him as Hufflepuff.
Peter could work well in almost any house, but I would put him in Ravenclaw probably.
That’s all for today! How would you sort Marvel characters? Am I way off about any?
