Hello Guardians! Today, I have a very chill post for you guys. I saw Lizzie do a post similar to this on her blog back in December, but I’ve also seen others do it too. It’s not my original idea. But I still thought it would be fun to try it myself. So, I waited around for my next trip and took some photos! I hope you enjoy packing with me!
(Heads up, my photo quality today isn’t up to my usual standards. I wasn’t really focused on that.)
I always start by making a packing list. Usually, I make it a couple weeks in advance. I kept this one in my bullet journal.
You see how everything is categorized? Yeah, I list off all my categories and focus on one at a time. I’ll check them off when I finish them.
Okay, now I’m getting started. Ummm, I never know what bags I’m going to use, so I just started by getting a bunch of bags out.
I decided to start with my clothes. I put most of my jackets on the bottom, because I figured I wouldn’t need them as soon as I got to my destination.
…
With the benefit of hindsight, I probably would have put my jackets and sweaters on top. It snowed a lot and was like, -6 one day.
Anyway. Since I already knew what clothes I was taking, I started by getting them all out and setting them on my bed.
I folded up some of the clothes that weren’t already folded. I typically try to use the Marie Kondo method, but I don’t really know how well I do it.
I left out the outfit I was planning to wear. I seem to wear this one a lot.
Okay, once all the shirts are folded, I put them in my suitcase. I love how pretty much every shirt I own is fandom related.
I have a problem. A good problem though. So, I had on my list to bring my Stitch pajamas. Well…I kind of have 2 pairs? I guess I’ll just take both!
Oh yeah. I always take a laundry bag on a trip with me. Because, who wants to mix clean and dirty clothes?
Making progress! But I only have completed two categories, so I need to keep it up.
I want to show you guys what I put my jewelry in. I got this for less than $5 at Walmart one day, and it is really great! There are a lot of different compartments to put jewelry in.
And then it rolls up into a small little bag!
Cam and Stella! I decided to take these two because they were new, and I felt bad that they were only the new bears for a couple weeks. I may or may not have a post coming up on BABF about them.
Here are my books and notebooks! I’m taking five books, because there’s a short one for school, one I was halfway through with, and then a few more for good measure.
Okay…then I’ll charge my electronics. Here’s another book related thing, my Kindle! Well…actually it isn’t my Kindle. My Kindle doesn’t hold a charge because it’s a Kindle Fire that’s 5 years old. So I borrowed my dad’s Kindle that’s 10 years old, and THAT one holds a pretty good charge!
Okay, now it’s time for toiletries! I really like this rose gold bag I got to keep all my travel sized toiletries in.
Okay…..now I’m going to go through my makeup bag. It’s kinda dirty right now and very disorganized, so I’m going to clean it up a little bit.
Okay, so in the main body of the bag I have some makeup and random toiletries.
Here I have some brushes and mascara. I’m…pretty sure…that I’m doing this right.
In the top pocket I have my palettes of eye shadow and blush.
Ta-da! My makeup bag is all clean and packed.
Okay, so then I did a bit of packing when I woke up in the morning. Because, you know, some things you can’t do ahead of time.
Ta-da! I’m allllll packed! I got to use my Stitch bag for the very first time, so that’s been fun. I usually take more stuff than my parents, but on this particular trip, my dad took a bunch of stuff. Our car was veryyyyyy packed. Anyway.

This post was pretty different than my normal posts, so I don’t know how you guys are going to like it. But oh well! Let me know what you thought of it so I can either do more or less posts like this!

Okay, this was a different post, but I LOOOOOVE it! Maybe I should do this sometime! This was DEFINITELY a fun post, to see all the travel things! Also, I love your calligraphy skills!๐ต๐

Yeah. Iโm not sure if it 100% will be postponed, but theaters are likely to not play it in May๐ญ๐ญ

It was fun to be part of this! I enjoy this (love seeing your fandom shirts).
Also, I’m not sure you do tags anymore and if this tag fits at all with your blog, so there’s no pressure at all to do this. I just wanted to tag you because I consider you as a blogger friend and I wanted you to be part of it. ๐ https://ribbonash.blogspot.com/2021/02/would-you-be-my-wips-themed-tag.html

I rarely do them? But I may just have to do that one next time I talk about my WIPs. Thank you!

Thank you for considering it since you don’t really do tags. That means a lot to me. ^_^ Even if you don’t do it, this will still be special to me.
