Hey diamonds!
We’re getting closer and closer to Christmas…yikes! By my calculations, we’ve got about 10 days. But of course, I’m not writing this today. I’m prepared, aren’t I?
Anyway, today’s post is documenting the decorating process this year. I love decorating for Christmas! My family started on November 26th, so these photos are mostly from that day. I also have photos of wrapping gifts! I’m excited to get started, so let’s not waste any more time!
Ooh! Looks like we’re starting with gifts. I made a huge order from Target to get some Christmas gifts for my family!
(so since I’ll be sharing a couple gifts for my family, if you’re related to me, click away)
not that my family reads my blog anyway…
GIFTSSSSSS!
You may look at this stack and think…Diamond, isn’t that just stuff for you?
Well…mostly. I did get a toy for Rocket, some kitchen accessories for my mom, and a movie for my dad.
Gifts to Diamond, from Diamond. =)
Whatttt? They were on sale!
Okay, now it’s time to decorate!
First step…ironing the placemats. You guys, these placemats are terrible! They’re reversible, and the two fabrics are made of different materials. Meaning…one side shrunk in the dryer and now one side is virtually unusable.(I did wash these according to the tag instructions FYI)
I then lit a candle to spread Christmas aromas throughout the house. I got this one at Hamrick’s, and it’s nice I guess. I prefer the one I got at Walmart. why did I buy 3 Hamricks candles…
Hey, one room is already decorated! The bathroom is done! In here, I simply have a gingerbread men hand towel and a rubber duck nativity. Don’t ask where that came from, because I honestly don’t know.
Ah, our tree. Lovely.
In all seriousness, pre-lit trees are the absolute best.
What’s this? There are already presents under this tree? Where’s the tree skirt?!
I decided to get out all of our ornaments and place them on our bookcases. Doesn’t it look beautiful? Let’s leave it like this forever!
I swear it gets better.
Since the tree looks a little…sparse, I decided to fluff it.
With a bit of fluffing and with some ornaments on the tree, it looks amazing!

Okay, it’s been a few days. Here’s our village! we had to get some new pieces/fix some stuff, but now we just need to light it up!
Ooh, time to wrap more presents!
Rocket is very curious about the presents under the tree…lol!

Okay, so that’s all I have for my decorating for Christmas post! I will show you guys photos of the decor next week, but I will give you a sneak peek real quick!
Ta-da! Isn’t that cool!
I will see you guys soon with more Christmas content!

(I really am blowing up your wordpress notifications today, aren’t I? 😅)
Anyway, this was such a cheery, festive post! I simply adore how your decorated your bookcases. And that rubber duck set is awesome! Haha.
