Interview with Sam @ Cherry on Top {Cherry on Top Blog Tour}

Hello Guardians! Today I have a fun interview for you all! Sam reached out to me to see if I could be a part of her blog tour, so I said yes! I asked her a few questions and here are her answers! I hope you guys enjoy, and don’t forget to check out her blog: Cherry on Top!

– Tell us about yourself and your blog. 

Hello there! I’m Sam! I’m a Slytherin, HUGE Disney fan {Winnie the Pooh is my favorite!}, and I’m in high school. Also, one day I want to open my own bakery.

– You are ‘reopening’ your blog. What have you learned during your time away? 

I learned a lot. For example, being quarantined with my erm, dear family for months made me finally realize what I love and want to do every day: baking! Also, I’ve learned some people don’t enjoy frosting *cough cough my sister*.

– Talk about some of the bloggers who have inspired you.

 Bayance { https://bayance.wordpress.com } is someone whose posts are always fantabolously well-written and thought out. She’s also the sweetest person! Also, Amie Anne { https://amieanne.blog } because even though she struggles, she always persists.

– What do you hope readers will take away from your posts? 

I hope that they realize that everything they do will not be perfect the first time. Or the second. Or third time. It took me a while to make the frosting swirl just right on the top of a cupcake. It is quite easy to make them very off-balanced!

– Name three things that you’d like to achieve in blogging. 

Well, I would like to work on my writing skills as well as procrastination, hehe. Also, I hope to make many blogger friends.

(I can definitely say that blogging helps on all three of those things!)

– Enough about your blog, let’s talk about you! What do you do for fun? 

If ya cannot tell, I LOVE to bake, specifically cupcakes. I am a big Harry Potter and Disney nerd. Er, oh! I also play the Bakery Story game.

– Do you prefer reading, watching TV shows, or watching movies? 

It really depends! If it’s Harry Potter, BOOKS. But then again I love all Disney movies and TV shows. But I love reading because I can imagine and see everything happening in my head. I’m very indecisive if ya can’t tell! XD

– What type of music do you like to listen to? 

Either 70-90s country {George Straight, Reba McIntire, Toby Keith, etc.} or 80s rock {Bon Jovi, Rick Springfield, etc.}

– If you had to spend all day doing just one thing, what would it be? 

Hmm. Probably having an endless supply of pre-made cupcakes to decorate.

– On a scale of 1-10, how neat would you say your handwriting is? 

Most certainly a 10/10. My notes in school are always stunning. 🙂 

– What is your favorite thing to bake?

 I like baking cupcakes but I LOVE decorating them!

-Which of your bullet journal themes has been your favorite?

 Hmm, maybe the neon flower designs of March {Actually it may not be March}.
