Hey diamonds! It’s nearly summer and I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to start my summer bucket list. I did a post like this last year, and it was a lot of fun!
I feel like I have a lot more goals this year, but also that they’re more attainable? We’ll see if that’s the case when summer ends and I revisit this year’s bucket list. Anyway, let’s see what’s on my list!
Make Money. Seeing as I have a car to pay off…I’d better figure out a way to do that. One thing I want to do is sell some old American Girl stuff! I’ve probably said it before, but we bought a bunch of AG stuff to sell and just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Also I need to get my old bedroom set sold. (and hopefully I’ll get the new one at some point this summer!)
Speaking of cars, mine needs a little work. Nothing major or urgent, but it will need some new brakes in the future. I also want to put a backup camera in it, since I’m used to driving with one. And ooh! A radio compatible with Apple CarPlay! I hope to get these things fixed up this summer.
I need to do some cleaning and organizing. I’d like to get to my bedroom, bathroom, and studio. Of course ,if I get to the rest of the house…that would be nice too.
I’d also like to get some decor for my room. (assuming I finally get the furniture…)
I actually did this one this week, but I got a chair for my room!
A bookshelf wouldn’t hurt either…perhaps I can get one this summer. I’d like to organize the books I have a bit more.
One thing on my bucket list is to visit the library regularly! I also want to read a lot from my physical TBR, so those two things kind of cancel each other out, but we’ll see. Oh, and I’d like to read more eBooks. It’s a good thing one of my goals is to read at least 25 books.
I want to go book shopping with one of my friends. There’s this local bookstore that she’s never been to…and hopefully, that will change soon.
I have a couple books that I signed up to beta read, so I’d like to read those.
I would like to read 4 classics. One of which being Jane Eyre. And hopefully the final LOTR book. And…okay there are a lot I want to get to.
The last book-related goal is to finish three series‘.
Alright, now for some writing-related goals. Firstly, I’d like to plot my summer WIP, which I’ve already done. Then of course comes the hard part…drafting my summer WIP.
I’d also like to write the next season of Aftershock so it’ll be ready to go after camp.
Speaking of camp, I’d like to have a great year of CHH! I’m excited about what I’ve planned so far.
Also blog-related, I’d like to post twice a week here throughout the summer. I also need to finish up some things with my giveaway that ended in April. (talk about procrastination)
Time for my favorite category…the travel one!
There are a couple church-related trips that I get to go on this year. I also would like to go to the beach.
At some point, I have to go on a trip in my new car. It’s not really my car until I do…
I’m dying to visit my grandma again, so hopefully I can spend a lot of time with her this summer.
Hopefully, with all of these trips, I can get more comfortable driving on the interstate.
Now that I think about it…I have a big trip coming up in the fall that I need to plan for. I’m not saying anything about it yet, but let’s just say it’s somewhere that I’m dying to go.
Time for some miscellaneous goals. I’d like to watch a bunch of movies. I have a small list of new films, but I think most will be rewatches.
I also want to get back into playing video games! I haven’t played Animal Crossing in forever! I miss my villagers…
This sounds kind of silly, but I really want to paint my parents’ bedroom! It’s still got primer on the wall, but it’s never actually been painted. I think I might want this more than my parents do, but c’mon! It needs to be painted!
Sometime before fall, I want to go clothes shopping. It’s not like I want a whole new wardrobe, but I don’t want to just wear T-shirts to school every day. (though I’m definitely not ruling that out)
I’ve started making playlists for various seasons of life, so I’d like to make one for Summer 2022.
I want to try to cook new meals/desserts. Everyone needs a little variety every now and then.
Finally, I’d like to paint something. Something creative I mean, not just a bedroom.

Oh wow, I can’t believe it’s already almost summer. 0.o
I haven’t finished compiling my bucket list yet, but hopefully I’ll be done with it by the end of the week, we shall see! These are some great ideas, I hope you can get them all checked off! 😀

Lucky!!! For me, school doesn’t break up till late July and then you go back like 2nd of September! Have a nice summer!
