Judging June 2022 ~ Monthly Reflections

Welcome back to IH12OP!

June was…something. I think it was probably my busiest month of the year. In a lot of ways it was the worst month of the year, but it wasn’t all bad. Let’s see how the recap goes.

The beginning of the month was filled with graduation things…I had a few of my friends over, my church leader took the older girls on a boat trip, and then one of my friends had a bonfire before she went away to college. It was a busy weekend!

The same weekend, my older dog Chap passed away. I really miss having him. Rocket and I are very lonely now…

My friend and I went to a bookstore together…it was pretty fun.

I finally got the furniture that we ordered in January! Rocket likes it.

I took Rocket on a few errands and to the pet store…he was not impressed by the cat.

We went to the Smoky Mountains for the weekend and we took Rocket! You can read about our trip here.

Once we got back from our trip, it was time for me to go to camp! It was pretty hectic but also a lot of fun.

It looks like we’re in the car again…Rocket definitely did not enjoy all the driving. Anyway, as soon as I got back from camp, it was time to go to Grandma’s!

I got to see Alyeigh again!

While I was at my grandma’s, we did a lot of fun stuff. My mom and I got manicures, we went to the movies(that was on this day), we played a bunch of games, went shopping, swam, I read and binged Stranger Things.

At one point my extended family came over and brought dogs…there were six dogs in one house!

There’s a Half-Price Books near my grandma’s house…I’ve never been before so I went and I loved it!

Reviewing June’s Goals

  • Write 10k in my summer project(still unnamed)

Nope. I don’t even think I wrote one word. Oh well.

  • Travel a lot(to multiple places…)

Oh yeah. I think I was at home for at least three days this month.

  • Read at least 10 books(…heh. I can probably do this)

I read exactly 10 books!

  • Don’t buy any books(keep me accountable y’all)

Haha, um, I failed this. I ended up buying five. Because I went book shopping so much.

  • Camp Happy Heart(so many posts, so little time)

I have no idea how, but I haven’t missed a day yet. We’ll see if I survive July.

  • Two posts a week on IH12OP(…we’ll see)

I think I missed one week? But honestly I don’t care.

  • Work on Aftershock(because if I don’t…I’ll disappoint a lot of people)

Nope. I bet you’re all disappointed.

Goals for July

  • Finish CHH (and prepare for a hiatus in August)
  • Reorganize my bedroom(with the new furniture)
  • Plan for Fall/Winter(life stuff and blog stuff)
  • Write(something)
  • Write Aftershock(c’mon…)

I think that’s gonna be all for now…

IH12OP Posts

BABF Posts

I’m not going to link to all those posts…I believe everything is under this tag.

I’m not the most proud of the posts I made this month, and the pageviews confirm that. But oh well, I suppose it’s better than nothing.

BOOKThe Rithmatist by Brandon Sanderson

MOVIESing 2

TV SHOWStranger Things(I had never seen this show this month!)

POST – I really liked D’s entry for the Summer of Stories contest.

I decided that for July, I’d go with a patriotic theme. I can’t believe I’ve never used this theme before!

I like this title page.

My monthly overview.

Moods, habits, meals, and media.

Finally, I have my tasks and blogging page.

Whelp, that was June. It was pretty crazy. How was your June? I’d love for you to tell me about it. Also let me know if you have any plans for July!

  3. AWWWWW I LOVE all the Rocket images!!! ๐Ÿ˜ Especially the Rocket vs. cat photo. XD He’s just so, so, so cute, like always. ๐Ÿ˜‰ But I am super sorry again to hear about Chap. *hugs* A patriotic bullet journal theme is a really great idea!!!! I can’t believe that idea like never occurred to me. XD And congrats on reading TEN books. *is jealous* I only read two. ๐Ÿ˜‚ June was really crazy for me too. Like why is summer just always so busy???? I don’t have a lot of plans for July. Have some birthdays in the family in July that we’ll celebrate, and then I’m helping out at my church’s Vacation Bible School, but that’s about it. Mostly just writing and TRYING to read more than two books. XD I hope you have a fantastic July. <33333
